When choosing an acoustic desk screen, the question quickly arises: 9 mm or 12 mm thick? Both options have advantages, but the choice depends on your situation.
Noise reduction
1. 9 mm: good absorption, ~70–80% reduction in disturbing noise (5–8 dB less perceived noise)
2. 12 mm: excellent absorption, up to 90% reduction (8–12 dB less) – significantly quieter, especially with voices and echoes
Strength & stability
1. 9 mm: light and flexible, perfect for small desks
